RF Depot offers sets of coaxial connector adapters designed to provide a very wide range of coaxial connector interconnections. These sets consist of an assortment of adapters with a common connector series interface. To interconnect any two series, the appropriate adapters are selected, and are mated together directly or though the use of an interface adapter. The resultant assembly will then adapt the selected connectors.

Two types of adapter sets are offered. Sets using a hermaphroditic or sexless connector and sets using a high quality standard interface such as Type N. Any two of the sexless adapters can be mated directly together. Sets using a high quality standard interface such as Type N consists of adapters with both Jack and Plug interfaces.
Auxiliary adapters are provided to mate two interface Jacks
or Plugs. Various combinations of sets are available.
Sexless connector sets are available based on either the GR
874, or the APC-7 connector. More economical sets based
on the Type N interface are also available.
These sets are normally supplied in a foam lined metal
container with latching cover. The complement of the sets
can be selected by the customer at standard cost and
prices. Standard containers are fitted for 40 individual
components with most standard sets consisting of 23
connectors, an accessory tee, accessory elbow, and
accessory cable assembly. The Type N interface set also
includes 6 auxiliary interface adapters.
The complement of the standard Type N connector set has
been chosen to provide maximum cost effectiveness and
flexibility. The more expensive adapters are thus provided
in only one version of the interface connectors.
Additional or replacement adapters are available at reasonable prices. Adapters within the same group may be exchanged on original order at no increase in price. Adapters not in the same price group may be interchanged at additional cost representing the difference in value only.
